Association Needs Building
The Virginia Association of the Blind is in need of our own building. Our past bingo lease was terminated. By buying our own building we will have our own meeting place with a community center for whatever we need.
Building Fund
We have begun a Building Fund, working towards our effort to have a meeting place and permanent home. Any amount you can give will be appreciated. However; should you wish to be recognized as a building fund contributor and have your name placed on a plaque, please pledge an amount of $100.00, and we will place your name on our large plaque that will hang in the new building for each $100.00 donation that you contribute. Donations larger than $500.00 or more will have their own plaque appropriately hanging in the building or on their own wall in their own home, which ever their wish.

Pledge to the building fund please! The first Contributors thus far are couple in Alexander Virginia. They were the first to send a check. Next was Alice Malbone our Executive Director and myself Ken Lovern. We have others like our Secretary and so forth and one member donated Seven Hundred dollars. So we have a start. Can you open your heart to contribute whatever you can afford to this great project for those Blind that need a Building of their own!
